I've been loving the extra attention she's been getting from publications, especially the current issue of Lucky, which perfectly showcased her incredible sense of street smart style. Never is she overdone, never is she over-accessorized. It's clear she's comfortable in what she's wearing, even in red carpet gowns. Always the perfect pop of color mixed in with an otherwise neutral ensemble. And always a fabulous bag or shoe.
Perhaps my favorite thing about her, besides how well she does high-low, is the quote she gave in her recent Lucky interview: "Class is not defined by money." I appreciate that mentality and that she is clearly someone who's worked her way to stardom and appreciates the sacrifice and hard work that went into it, and who is grateful for all they've achieved. She came from humble beginnings, she came from a family of hard workers, and she never takes that for granted. She's very proud of her hard work, she values what comes with each paycheck, and she's wise with her money, buying investment pieces that will last forever, and rocking basics from the Gap and J.Crew. That practicality is super-relatable.
Here are a few more of my favorites from the last few years, sourced where I could find one.

Her eye for proportion and fit is unmatched. She knows what works on her body, and how to accentuate her tiny frame, without looking vulgar. She's quoted as saying she likes to look strong, and that she doesn't prefer to dress in a manner that makes her look delicate. That perfect balance makes Zoe Saldana a Style Star.
