PRODUCT REVIEW: Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer

I have waffled on trying this stuff out, and didn't end up buying it, opting instead for a little sample jar of it after playing with it in the Ulta store.  I got the sample in the LIGHT, which is fairly pinkish in the jar and on my hand, but when I put it under my eyes looks way less pink, and really I could've probably use fair or light easily, but for the whole shade range it is not a big range at all.  Just 5 shades, and I suppose it would be easy to get a decent working shade with, though darker skinned women are going to really have a hard time tonally.

PRODUCT REVIEW: Garnier Caffeine Anti-Dark Circles Eye Roller

After reading the reviews over on Makeupalley.com, a site at which I kill many hours during a workday, I decided I would pick this item up. I kind of figured that my shiners would not likely benefit from the tint, as it was probably WAY too sheer...but I was pretty surprised that it's really NOT that sheer. It is by no means opaque, but it's definitely not sheer. Considering how many layers of "opaque" concealer I need to not look like the walking corpse I usually am,  the idea of swapping a few out to have a little "brightness" is definitely appealing.  And this has allowed me to lose at least two full on layers of spackle.  I start with a layer of this, let it dry down a bit, then I add the opaque stuff. Then I rub the roller on the top of my finger and dab more of this over the opaque. Rinse. Repeat. A few more times. And yet that's still less than I usually use...

PRODUCT REVIEW: Laura Geller "The Real Deal Concealer"

I bought this from QVC as well (noticing a theme here?) after a rare concealer presentation on there that I didn't immediately scream "full coverage my ass" to my television thinking that Patti Reilly or Lisa Robinson might actually hear me.   I pay close attention to those, because without concealer, henceforth known as "spackle", I look like I got the shit beat out of me.  I have had these "shiners" my entire life, and the older I get the worse they get.  I have tried every eye cream on earth, especially those that tout that they'll cure my circles, to no avail.  So now the mission has just become to find the most opaque concealer I can.
