Fashion Fix ::: Style Star -- Red Carpet Edition

All photos sourced from Huffington Post's Award Show coverage

Award Season has finally ended, and now it's time to review a few of my top picks from the Red Carpets!

The absolute knockout from this year's season is hands down Lupita Nyong'o.  Every. Single. Time. it was perfection.  My favorite has to be the gorgeous turquoise Gucci she wore to the SAG Awards, the fit is amazing but that color...wow. Just wow!  That is probably my pick of the entire season, in fact.

Others I thought rocked it on the Carpets this season...

Margot Robbie, in Gucci at the Golden Globes.  Absolutely sunning. I love the peek of emerald green on the shoes from the slit.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum, in Roberto Cavalli, also at the Golden Globes. Normally I am not someone into embroidery, but there's something about the lacework on this gown that just absolutely blows my mind.

Jessica Chastain, in Givenchy, also at the Golden Globes. The fit is incredible.

Mila Kunis, also in Gucci, also at the Golden Globes.

Maria Menounos, in BCBG Max Azria, also at the Golden Globes.  I love this color on her, and the cutouts are amazing.

Anna Chlumsky at the SAG Awards.

Camila Alves McConaughey, in Donna Karan Atelier, at the SAG Awards.  Matthew McConaughey looks incredible as well.  Sidebar: Thoughts on True Detective Finale???

Kelly Osbourne in a righteous Zac Posen at the SAG Awards.

Anna Gunn in Monique Lhuillier with a really awesome Breaking Bad Clutch, also at the SAG Awards.

And a few favorites from the Oscars...

Gabourey Sibide, in THEIA, at the Oscars.  Absolutely ravishing, and that color is so marvelous for her skin. Seriously, she is glowing.

And my other favorite, Sandra Bullock, in Alexander McQueen.  Striking. Tremendous. Extraordinary!

It's evident, I think, from this selection of favorites that I am a huge fan of Navy and interesting details to otherwise incredibly simple shapes.

Also, if anyone was ever doubting Frida Giannini's capability as the Creative Director of Gucci, well...I hope this awards season dispelled those doubts because that woman NAILS IT.  Gucci totally ruled the Carpet this season!

What were your favorites?
