Must Try ::: Followup on Graze.com

So, like, the day after the post went live last week for Graze.com, my very first box arrived at my home. I don't normally arrive home until evening from work and my husband chooses to not mess with my mail often despite my many requests (he works from home), but he did say "hey, ANOTHER (lots of emphasis there...) package arrived for you today..this one looks interesting and I almost want to open it this time, but I won't. But I want to."

When I got home that evening, I checked it out, and we were both instantly curious with its contents. The packaging is fantastic, and I am not just saying that because I am a total packaging nerd. The box is obviously custom, to fit the four trays of snacks. It's beautifully printed as well. I love the trays and their heat-molded recyclable plastic as well. They are great for tossing in a purse or lunch bag. I didn't feel like they'd get totally smashed to smithereens in my giant black hole of a bag either.

On top of the items is a little printed leaflet with the information on your items, a little bit of "Friendcode" information, and on the back is the nutritional breakdown.

As I said last week, the concept is great, and I normally don't sign up for subscription boxes, even candy and food and beauty stuff, despite some of their siren songs.  This one really appealed to me for a lot of reasons, but above all, because of the portion-controlled, mostly-healthy options, one of my huge downfalls in trying to control any part of my diet and weight is portion control. I am like a bottomless pit.

Anyway... I am rambling.

My box included a Summer Berry Flapjack (three mini bars in one little tray), Chili and Honey AlmondsBonnie Wee Oatbakes with Caramelized Onion Marmalade (let me just say that this was like an "I dunno about this" and it ended up being SO GOOD!), and the Toffee Apple. Some of you wonderful people saw and liked the photos of these delicious options when I posted photos on Instagram.

One other great thing about this service is that it's customizable, at least to an extent.  You can omit things like animal products, dairy or gluten.  Or just edit out things you think are gross, like me and pistachios and wasabi.

I took the box of treats with me to work the next day, much to the husband's disappointment, but only one of the items inside would be anything I felt he would be interested in, and after I tried them I realized that had I shared even one of them, we would've had a physical fight in the living room, greco-roman style over this particular item.  (Joking. But it would've been real proof that I loved him to share those with him.) That item in question? The Chili and Honey Almonds. Of which I'd like a gallon delivery. Hey Graze folks? Please????

 Posted in the order eaten...

I had it on my desk for several hours, and the box and I made eye contact several times in that span. I finally made my move and tried the Bonnie Wee Oatbakes with the Marmalade thinking that would be my "least favorite in the box" and it still was SO DAMN GOOD. I was licking out the little compartment with the marmalade. A coworker was looking at me like I was some kind of caged animal. He wouldn't be wrong.

At press time, I've ingested (read: inhaled) all but the Toffee Apple. For some reason I am like, trying to save that as long as I can, because I think I am going to adore it and also want a gallon vat of that. If I know myself, it'll be gone by 9am. I am trying in vain to make that one last til middle of the week. We'll see how that goes.

I am definitely sticking with this. It's incredibly reasonably priced at $6 per box, with 4 snacks per box. I sometimes spend more than $6 per snack. And I snack a lot during the week. During the day.  During each hour.  I do wish there was a way to get "reorders" of specific items more often, or in bulk, but I know that kinda defeats the purpose of "healthy and portion controlled snacking."

So this is seriously a super win. If you'd like to give it a try, use my FriendCode below to get your 1st and 5th boxes FREE!  Like I said, I am going to continue, because I think it's worth paying for and the price is really reasonable. It's my first (and only) subscription box! Yay!   https://www.graze.com/us/p/AMYD4FN4U

    1. Yay! I am STILL loving my boxes. My favorite item is still those Chili Honey Almonds. But thankfully now I have those Olomomo's for the meantime.
